The Globe and Mail Centre made sure we had the perfect wedding! John and I wanted our guests to have the most spectacular time and focused a lot on the experience for our guests.

The floor to ceiling windows, 360 views of Toronto and the openness of the venue, with touches of our personality helped us create our dream wedding. The food and beverage services were above and beyond what we had expected, the Globe and Mail Centre detailing team was meticulous and the day of team made sure every detail planned was matched and executed perfectly.

After a delay due to Covid, we hosted our wedding reception at the Globe and Mail Centre a few weeks ago and it was truly a night to remember!

The venue itself is stunning in its design, chic and modern with breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline. Our guests were blown away when they walked into the room and enjoyed going out on the terrace to take photos with the amazing backdrop of the city.

The staff and preferred vendors were all wonderful to work with, from the Old Fashioned’s being made at the bar to our caterers who knocked it out of the park. The venue itself is a blank slate, with furniture and food having to be outsourced, but the Globe coordinators make it very easy to navigate this. We recommend the Globe to any couple looking to treat their guests to a one-of-a-kind experience with a true city feel.

We simply cannot say enough good things about having a wedding at the Globe and Mail Centre. We unfortunately had to move our wedding multiple times due to COVID and the Globe and Mail Centre could not have been more accommodating and helpful with navigating what could’ve been a frustrating and difficult time. On the day of, venue staff were extremely courteous and driven to provide an elite standard of service. Getting married surrounded by unmatched city views was unforgettable, and we can safely say that it was well worth the wait!
